The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a committee for parents or other community members who want to advocate for English Learners. Each California Public School from Kindergarten through grade 12, with 21 or more English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). The purpose of this committee is to advise the principal, school staff and the School Site Council on programs and services for English Learners. Any parent of an English Language Learner student is welcome to join ELAC.
The NSAA ELAC invites you to attend the bi-monthly committee meetings (meeting to be posted here soon). The next upcoming committee meetings will be held on March 1st and May 3rd (meeting times to be announced later). The meeting location is at the Norton Space and Aeronuatics Academy (address below).
