Meet the QVS-NSC Scientists!

Meet Hayley Bignall:Hayley works as a support scientist at JIVE (Joint Institute for VLBI in Europe). Although while at work she spends most of her time sitting in front of a computer, she does like to get outdoors when she can. She enjoys cycling, jogging, and hiking in nature reserves etc. She is inspired by places of natural beauty. Hayley used to be very much into rowing, but hasn't done much of that lately. She quite enjoys cooking, but nothing too complicated.
The hobbies she has acquired since moving to the Netherlands (just over a year ago) include playing 5-a-side soccer and bridge, which she enjoys more for the social aspects than the game itself, really! A great thing about her job is that it's given her the chance to meet and socialize with people from all over the world, who all share an interest in science but have different cultural backgrounds and perspectives on life.
