Fourth Grade Students from Mrs. Beth Sandez’s class at Northridge Magnet School in Moreno Valley, California, during a recent Jupiter Quest antenna session.
Students were involved in sampling, averaging, and calculating Jupiter’s thermal atmospheric temperature using an Excel spreadsheet. Students meet California Math and Science Standards while controlling DSS-12, a 34-meter radio telescope!
