The High Desert "Partnership in Academic Excellence" Foundation, Inc.

The High Desert "Partnership in Academic Excellence" Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is not organized for the private gain of any person.

In partnership with businesses, foundations, educators, parents, students, and others, the Foundation promotes and supports the educational needs of students, teachers and community members. The volunteer Board of Directors representing business, education, and the community directs the activities of the Foundation and receives and utilizes funds acquired through the solicitation of donations, gifts, and bequests for the purposes for which this Corporation is formed.

Foundation Board Meeting Schedule

The Foundation Board will meet quarterly beginning in September 2007. Meetings will be the second Monday of the month in September, December, March and June at 9:00 a.m. Meeting location will alternate between Kelly Space and Technology, Inc., 294 S. Leland Norton Way, San Bernardino, California and the Desert Mountain Educational Service Center, 17800 Highway 18, Apple Valley, California.

The AAE School Board Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m. Meetings are held at the Desert Mountain Educational Service Center, 17800 Highway 18, Apple Valley, California.

The NSAA School Board Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Meetings are held at Kelly Space & Technology, Inc., 294 S. Leland Norton Way, San Bernardino, California.

All meetings of the Foundation Board and School Board Committees are held in compliance with the requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act as set forth in Section 54950 of the California Government Code.
