The High Desert "Partnership in Academic Excellence" Foundation, Inc.

The High Desert "Partnership in Academic Excellence" Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is not organized for the private gain of any person.

In partnership with businesses, foundations, educators, parents, students, and others, the Foundation promotes and supports the educational needs of students, teachers and community members. The volunteer Board of Directors representing business, education, and the community directs the activities of the Foundation and receives and utilizes funds acquired through the solicitation of donations, gifts, and bequests for the purposes for which this Corporation is formed.

Foundation Board Meeting Schedule

The Foundation Board meets quarterly (meeting schedule). Meetings are the second Monday of the month in September, December, March and June at 8:00 a.m. The meeting location alternates between the Desert Mountain Educational Service Center at 17800 Highway 18, Apple Valley, and the Norton Space and Aeronautics Academy at 503 E. Central Ave., San Bernardino.

All meetings of the Foundation Board are held in compliance with the requirements of the Ralph M. Brown Act as set forth in Section 54950 of the California Government Code.

Pursuant to the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, any person requiring special accommodations to participate in this meeting is asked to advise the agency at least 48 hours before the meeting by calling (760) 946-5414 x201.

Any written materials relating to agenda items to be discussed in open session are available for public inspection prior to the meeting at 20702 Thunderbird Rd., Apple Valley, CA.
