It's time to roll out the red carpet for our most glamorous event of the year: the 2024 Lewis Center Foundation Golden Age GALA! This year, we're transporting you back to the Glitz and Glamour of Old Hollywood, where the stars shine bright and dreams come true.
The Lewis Center Foundation received a stellar number of worthy nominations for our Distinguished Service Awards. Today, we’re proud to roll out the red carpet and announce the shining stars for 2024:
AAE Staff Distinguished Service Award: CYNTHIA ALLEN!
Cynthia has been a dedicated AAE staff member for over 25 years. Serving as a Counseling Assistant, she has worn many hats and has been a guiding light for our community.
NSLA Staff Distinguished Service Award: DAVID SILAS TELLYER!
Just ask any high school student at NSLA, and they’ll tell you Mr. Tellyer is one of their favorite teachers. David chairs the High School English Department and is the lead advisor for National Honor Society and Poetry Out Loud, making him a true star in our eyes.
Lewis Center Staff Distinguished Service Award: CHARLES WHITTENBURG!
Charles, our dependable Groundskeeper, has beautified both Lewis Center campuses for years. He works tirelessly with our Facilities team to keep our grounds in tip-top shape.
Lewis Center Community Partner Distinguished Service Award: MITSUBISHI CEMENT CORP.!
Mr. David Rib, the Mitsubishi Plant Manager and a Lewis Center Board Member, will accept the award on behalf of Mitsubishi. Their unwavering support has been instrumental to the success of the Lewis Center.
