Local Outreach Sponsorship Opportunities

Help us preserve the past, inspire the present, and prepare for the future!
The Lewis Center for Educational Research (LCER) is a 501(C) (3) non-profit organization overseeing our Local Outreach program.  We are seeking support from local businesses and community partners to help us improve the learning environment and facilities at Mineral City, our replica gold rush mining town and our AVCI: Apple Valley Center for Innovation, our STEM center.

Through Local Outreach, Mineral City & AVCI provide hands-on, immersive learning experiences for approximately 3,300 students from more than 40 schools each year, including students from AAE and local schools throughout the region. Students connect classroom learning to meaningful, real-world applications in STEM, geology, mining, engineering, environmental science, history, and problem-solving. With an extended waiting list, demand for this unique learning experience continues to grow.

Corporate partners can help us improve and expand the facility so more students can safely experience authentic, hands-on learning.
